A multipolar world is a global political order where power is distributed among multiple centers, rather than being dominated by a single superpower or two major blocs. This contrasts with unipolar (one dominant power) or bipolar (two major powers) systems. 

Instead of a single dominant power (like the US after the Cold War) or two major powers (like the US and USSR during the Cold War), power is distributed among several key players. In a multipolar world, various actors, including states, regional powers, and even non-state actors, exert influence and shape international affairs.
